Communications & Training

Communications is at the core of everything we do. Finding the right things to say to the right people, in the right way, at the right time - to get the right outcome. Sounds simple, but then the most important things often do.

FD Blueprint's play an active, hands-on role in all client work. Debbie Parriss, our Partner responsible for our communications and media team, has more than 20 years’ experience in leading complex, international communications and training programmes. Clients appreciate getting support from, and having access to, senior professionals.

Our communications support is delivered by a genuinely cosmopolitan team. Bringing together talented people from different cultural, political and professional backgrounds ensures there is no 'same old' way of approaching a task.

All communications projects bring together the right mix of cultures and expertise. Our team of public affairs, communications and media professionals are drawn from disciplines including journalism, business, law and politics. Our work covers a broad range of communications disciplines, including:

  • Strategic Communications
Design and implementation of communication strategies, facilitation of internal meetings and external events, development of internal communications programmes and tools.

  • Crisis and Issues Support
Reputational risk assessment, issue monitoring and analysis, and crisis planning - as well as handling live issues and crises. Using diagnostic tools to assess vulnerabilities to specific issues, and preparing for crises with simulation exercises. Considering all stakeholder groups and audiences, including - but not limited to - the media.

  • Perception Studies
Designing and undertaking stakeholder perception studies. Defining objectives, questionnaire development, sampling, interviewing, data classification and analysis of results and recommendations.

  • Communications Projects
Development and organisation of communications projects including organisation of creative events for key stakeholders, sponsorship programmes, drafting and designing literature and website counsel.

  • Training
Provision of training including introductions to EU public affairs, media training, message workshops, crisis communications training, communications training for senior managers and training of internal PR teams on communications best practice.

  • Restructuring of Communications Activities
Review and adaptation of work processes and decision-making mechanisms, membership enhancement programmes. Staff motivation and support with setting up and structuring internal PR and communications teams.
